Utah Summer 2009

FINAL UTAH SUMMER POST (Phew!)

Even though the morning sickness kept me from feeling my best, we spent a lot of time going back and forth between the two families. Q's dad has been asking us since before L was even 3 months old if he could take her to Build-a-Bear. This trip his wish finally came true. And C was beside himself with the excitement of riding on the Front Runner train to get to SLC to make the stuffed animals. Front Runner has now been a part of his regular conversation for the last two months ("Mom, leave the door open big... like Front Runner!" or "I go FAST -- like Front Runner). It made a big impression.

Most mornings I awoke to these two outside taking care of the garden before breakfast.

When Q got back from Russia we spent the week with his family. Both of his sisters were there, making it a complete Beazer Family Event. To celebrate, we went to a cabin up in the amazingly beautiful Brighton, Utah. Wow -- chilly, gorgeous, tons of rocks to throw in streams and ponds, early morning hikes for Q and his eldest sister, and lots of quality time with the kids' aunts and grandparents without interruption.

Wishing they could ride up the mountain on the ski lift

And you can't imagine how happy we all were to get Q back from Russia. When the kids woke up the morning after we'd picked him up from the airport, they were ecstatic to remember that he was back.

And finally, after a crazy and wonderful month with family in Utah, we headed back to Home in Ohio.
