Boy Meets Wall (caution -- blood and gore to follow)

A little boy ran into a wall. And this was the result:

Luckily we live close enough to campus that Q was able to bike home quickly and help me decide if he needed stitches. Even more luckily, we have a wonderful neighbor that was willing to come and glue him back together (liquid stitches) so that we didn't have to spend the night in the ER. It looks pretty gory, but I was amazed at how little he cried or even stopped to notice it. He was excited to tell his dad how the blood was going in his eye though. Maybe he'll end up with a Harry Potteresque scar that will gain him respect amongst his peers.

OK, so it wasn't THAT bloody and gory and now it just looks like a rug burn or nasty scab.

gory enough for me. glad to hear you didn't have to go to the E.R. we were there a few weeks ago for a cut off fingertip and let me tell you it was a pretty little penny. good thing he's tough. congrats on the pregnancy..hope you're feeling better. take care.
